VIGMA Call for Applicants Announced
As announced before, VIGMA call for applicants is public now. All developers across the country can submit their game to the competition starting from today.
In the time being all game developers across the country can submit their game to the competition. VIGMA is the first Video Games Media Awards that is completely established by video games critics in Iran. The jurors for competition part of VIGMA are therefore selected from among video game writers and journalists well known in Iran.
Based on the rules and regulations announced by VIGMA’s public relations’ office, games submitted to the competition will compete in eight categories:
- Game of the Year
- Best On-Going Game
- Best Game Design
- Best Narrative in a Video Game
- Best Art Direction
- Best Music and Sound
- Most Innovative Game of the Year
- Most Anticipated Game
You can read the whole text of the awards call for applicants here. Abiding the rules and regulations when submitting a game is necessary and all the games that are not in accordance with the rules will be put aside from the competition.
Applicants will be able to submit their games to the competition until the end of Sunday, January 5, 2020.
VIGMA is a one day long event in which besides the competition, conferences and panels will be held to make an atmosphere for exchanging experience and knowledge. VIGMA is planned to be held on March 5th, 2020.
